Hampshire County Council, working with PA Consulting, faced growing demand and significant cost pressures in adult social care, with around 15,000 residents assessed as having eligible care needs. The Council needed a way to improve outcomes for people while increasing independence, safety, and access to help in emergencies.

PA Consulting implemented the Argenti care technology partnership, a technology-enabled care and telecare service covering referrals, assessments, installations, equipment, and monitoring. The solution has supported more than 20,000 people over seven years and delivered over £13 million in net savings, including £3.4 million in net cost efficiency in 2019–2020 alone; service quality remained high, with over 98% of users willing to recommend the service and 94% reporting improved independence, safety, and security.
