Aegon Asset Management’s UK business unit, Kames Capital, needed to deliver a complex restructuring across the business quickly and confidently while its parent group was undergoing broader transformation in the US and Europe. PA Consulting supported the change by helping the team adopt agile techniques, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), to better prioritize and manage the change portfolio.

PA Consulting established a joint team with Kames’ change and technology functions and provided coaching, training, executive agile leadership training, and staff town halls to build new capabilities. The results included more effective prioritization of strategic initiatives, large programmes consistently delivered within a year, and 85% of committed work delivered quarter on quarter, while also fostering stronger alignment across business, change, and technology teams.
