ING Investment Management, part of ING, needed to set up a new organisation to serve institutional clients by combining parts of several existing ING businesses and a new acquisition. PA Consulting was brought in to help define the new business model, organisation structure, and integration approach, including the timing and tactics needed to make the change work.

PA Consulting supported ING Investment Management in evaluating different integration scenarios so the client could make informed decisions and maximise value creation. The new organisation was successfully launched just 4 months after the programme began, demonstrating rapid delivery and strong operational execution by PA Consulting.
