Ørsted, Denmark’s largest energy producer, needed to accelerate its transition to green energy while staying ahead in a digitalizing power market. PA Consulting overhauled Ørsted’s IT operating model, organizing multidisciplinary teams around customer value streams and helping the company adopt agile ways of working, supported by data-driven insights, AI, predictive analytics, and automation. The results were significant: tasks that once took up to 24 months now take as little as two months, and Ørsted is on track to reach 99% green energy production by 2025.
