World Vision UK, the charity supporting four million vulnerable children worldwide, wanted to grow donations as child sponsorship appeal was waning. PA Consulting reviewed World Vision UK’s long-term donor data and identified that the charity was over-reliant on one demographic and one channel, missing opportunities to attract new sponsors and revenue.
PA Consulting then helped develop a new marketing and fundraising strategy as part of a five-year transformation, targeting new audiences such as young families and using digital channels more effectively. PA Consulting also built a bespoke modelling tool so World Vision UK could test products, donor segments, and channel mixes to see what would best hit fundraising targets, helping kick-start donations growth again.
