Implementing a new air traffic management system on time and to budget

Naviair, the Danish air navigation services provider, needed to implement a new Air Traffic Management System to handle growing traffic levels. To support this major transformation, Naviair engaged PA Consulting to add project and programme management expertise alongside its own technical capabilities, while also coordinating a new control centre and control tower build.

PA Consulting helped Naviair establish a programme management office to oversee 50 individual projects and provided extensive support to the programme management team, including tailored coaching to build a strong, cooperative team. PA Consulting also improved stakeholder communication with a web portal for sharing information, helping the programme stay on track and be delivered on time and on budget.
