Weprotect Global Alliance works to coordinate the global fight against online child sexual exploitation and abuse, a rapidly growing and increasingly sophisticated threat. PA Consulting supported the alliance as it sought to move beyond its roots in the UK Government and become a self-sufficient, independent international institution.

PA Consulting broadened the annual Global Threat Assessment, bringing in expertise, technology insights, and a global network of contacts to help quantify the threat and understand how innovation is changing it. It also developed a plan for Weprotect’s independent future, covering governance, capabilities, and funding. The result is an alliance with 97 member countries, 27 global technology companies, 31 CSOs and eight regional organisations, backed by philanthropic funding and a Global Strategic Response to help governments strengthen their efforts.
