BroBizz A/S, Denmark’s biggest collector of road toll payments, wanted to expand beyond tolls into ferry crossings, parking, and eventually wider European markets. To support that growth, BroBizz needed to improve the customer experience for drivers and attract more subscribers with better digital services. PA Consulting helped BroBizz assess new technology options, including number plate recognition, as part of this expansion strategy.

PA Consulting designed and helped implement number plate recognition for BroBizz and Great Belt Link, moving the concept from design to pilot and then live implementation in nine months. The solution was intended to make payment easier for drivers, shift more users from card and cash to subscription-based payment, and improve traffic flow at toll stations. PA Consulting also supported the design of a new subscriber app, giving BroBizz a stronger platform for growth in parking, ferry crossings, and beyond.
