Arm, a technology company known for designing microchips used in most mobile devices, wanted to transform its IT function to support ambitious growth plans. The company needed to move away from a traditional project management culture toward a more Agile way of working that would improve collaboration, speed, and value delivery.

PA Consulting helped Arm by designing a new IT operating model, setting up a programme office, and coaching more than 25 delivery teams while training over 200 people in SAFe and Agile practices. PA Consulting also ran a communication programme to build support across the business, and within eight months 80% of Arm’s IT staff were using Agile techniques.
