The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) needed a better way to track the impact and value for money of the UK’s £1.2 billion Prosperity Fund across 24 programmes. PA Consulting worked with the FCO to help teams define what they wanted to achieve and identify the indicators needed to measure progress.

PA Consulting designed and built Prospero, a cloud-based system for monitoring and reporting on Fund and programme performance. The platform gives civil servants, ministers and diplomats clear analytics on spending and results, helping them show impact across jobs, social inclusion and other outcomes; the Infrastructure Projects Authority even described it as a “potential game-changer.”
