Dizzie saves over 1 million plastic pieces with PA Consulting

PA Consulting worked with Dizzie, a UK-based packaging service provider, to help the company overcome challenges in its reusable packaging system. Dizzie's goal was to transition retailers away from single-use plastics, but its existing off-the-shelf containers were inefficient, leading to high costs, excessive shipping emissions, and a poor user experience that detracted from its sustainability ambitions.

PA Consulting's solution involved conducting extensive user research and applying its expertise in sustainable product design and supply chain to develop a new set of stackable, nestable containers made from sustainably sourced HDPE plastic. This optimized design for a closed-loop system eliminated waste and improved logistical efficiency. As a result, Dizzie built its business around these new pots, which are projected to save over one million pieces of plastic and reduce carbon emissions by more than 139,000 kg annually.
