Metris Therapeutics, a specialist pharmaceutical company focused on women’s healthcare, needed help establishing a manufacturing process for a novel vaginal drug delivery system to treat benign gynaecological conditions such as menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea. Metris Therapeutics turned to PA Consulting to help turn an existing patent concept into a prototype suitable for preclinical testing, while also supporting clinical and regulatory planning.

As a result, PA Consulting helped Metris Therapeutics reach phase-one clinical trials in 16 months, including a successful IND submission, and phase-two trials in 24 months.
