Delivering an impartial and defensible analysis of the company's reliability

DHL Express, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post, wanted an impartial and defensible way to compare its global service reliability against competitors and strengthen its service proposition. It partnered with PA Consulting to design and run a large-scale field test across its international express network.

PA Consulting built a global testing infrastructure covering 107 offices worldwide, which made 60,000 express shipments with DHL Express and key competitors and centrally captured the results. The study showed that DHL Express was the most reliable express carrier in the world, with especially strong performance on shipments originating in Asia, giving DHL clear data to support its reliability claims.
