Virgin Hyperloop wanted to create the first major new mode of transport in more than a century: a hyperloop system that could move people far faster than high-speed rail while delivering an on-demand experience. To make that vision real, the company needed help designing the complex software, traffic control, systems engineering, and enterprise architecture needed to support the new transport model. PA Consulting worked with Virgin Hyperloop on this challenge.

PA Consulting devised the technology blueprint for the system and supported the development of the software systems requirements, safety frameworks, and long-term roadmap for the business. As a result, Virgin Hyperloop accelerated delivery of its software systems requirements by 30%, helping advance projects such as the Pune-Mumbai route in India and moving the company closer to making hyperloop a reality.
