Case Study: University of Brighton creates a better IT experience with PA Consulting

Creating a great experience for students and staff with the right IT services

PA Consulting worked with the University of Brighton to shape a strategic plan for delivering IT services that better support students, staff, learning, and research. The university needed to align classroom, research, business, and general-purpose IT with its new “Practical Wisdom” strategy and create a clearer, more effective IT operating model.

PA Consulting collaborated with more than 50 people across the university’s five campuses, using Agile techniques to gather stakeholder input and identify priorities. The result was a new IT strategic plan built around a single governance structure and one university-wide IT function, enabling more consistent, integrated services, better control of IT investment and costs, and a stronger platform to enhance the university’s reputation and future growth.
