PA Consulting worked with HSBC, a global banking organization, to digitise its operations and improve customer and staff experiences across a complex, multi-market financial platform. The challenge was to modernize core services at scale, including public websites, commercial banking workflows, onboarding, and tools for front-line teams.
PA Consulting redesigned and migrated HSBC’s global public website system across 55 markets and 17 languages, led UX development for a core transactional commercial banking service, and digitised onboarding for a high-volume payments platform to make it self-serve, API-based, and transparent. PA Consulting also built tools to empower front-line staff and prototyped wealth reporting for ultra-high-net-worth clients, helping HSBC reduce onboarding from months to hours and deliver seamless digital experiences globally.
