The solution was the creation and launch of the Emergency Medicine Data Institute (EMDI), a secure, cloud-based digital platform built by PA Consulting. This automated platform ingests and standardizes hundreds of complex datasets from thousands of schemas. Within just seven months—a fraction of the typical time—ACEP went live, capturing data from 13 million ED visits. The platform provides actionable insights, enables rapid reporting, and helps emergency departments qualify for performance-based payments.
