PA Consulting worked with Air Seychelles, the national flag carrier, to support a strategic turnaround. The airline needed to balance its national role with the need to operate economically in a market where airline seat capacity was outstripping limited hotel bedstock.

PA Consulting delivered a detailed implementation plan with a commercial and operational focus, working across commercial, operations, HR, procurement and product. The solution centered on airport operations and seamless domestic turboprop transfers, and PA Consulting identified up to US$17m in potential profit improvement initiatives, including US$2.3m in cost reduction opportunities, while also launching “train the trainer” programs to improve customer experience cost-effectively.
