GROB, the global machine-tool manufacturer, wanted to create a new B2B sales channel for spare parts that would strengthen customer loyalty and simplify its complex service and ordering processes. To meet these requirements, GROB chose OXID eSales and its OXID eShop platform after a selection process, with support from the digital agency FDI and SAP integration.
OXID eSales implemented the GROB4CARE portal as a personalized spare-parts shop with parts catalogue integration, exploded views, real-time stock and pricing, approval workflows, OCI/ERP connectivity, and role-based access. The result was a highly tailored B2B buying experience that improved efficiency, reduced incorrect orders, and gave customers faster access to the right parts and technical information, while also supporting GROB’s internal process optimization.
