AMMC, Morocco’s financial market regulator, wanted to strengthen its risk-led approach as the country’s capital markets expanded and new financial reforms created additional operational and systemic risk. Previously, risk management was handled manually in Excel, and the authority needed a more integrated, reliable information system to support internal risk supervision, stakeholder risk oversight, internal control, audit, incident tracking, and reporting. OXIAL implemented an agile, user-friendly GRC platform that automates task scheduling, corrective action plans, mapping updates, incident management, and report production while improving information security. The solution has been in use for five months by around 40 employees across five departments, helping AMMC save time and effort and making risk management and controls more effective. OXIAL’s platform also supports ongoing monitoring of indicators so AMMC can better track progress and adjust actions to achieve results.
