Citrus Improves Sales by Analyzing the Competition

Citrus, a Ukrainian retail chain for gadgets and accessories, wanted to increase sales through price optimization but struggled to understand how its prices compared with competitors’ prices affected conversion rates. The company was also spending too much time on manual competitor price checks, which were slow and inconsistent. OWOX helped Citrus address this challenge using OWOX BI Pipeline together with Competera for automated price monitoring and data collection.

OWOX implemented a setup that sent website behavior data and competitor pricing data into Google BigQuery, then connected the combined data to Google Sheets and Power BI for reporting and analysis. Citrus also received automatic email alerts when competitor prices changed or products became unavailable. As a result, Citrus could analyze pricing deviations, identify which channels brought the most loyal customers, and adjust prices dynamically to support higher conversions and sales.
