the IT & Solution Company was asked to revamp the entire outdated IT infrastructure for a hospital with no available funding. The challenge became critical when the hospital was designated to treat COVID-19 patients, requiring a complete refresh of hardware and software to support medical staff within an urgent two-and-a-half week deadline.

The vendor, oVirt, provided a hyperconverged infrastructure that was immediately available. oVirt enabled a fast and reliable deployment, the migration of existing VMs, and the creation of Windows 10 VM pools. The solution, which included CentOS-based thin clients, made the infrastructure faster and easier to maintain. The results significantly cut support time and reduced the time hospital staff spent on computers, improving patient care. The project utilized a cluster with 3 hosts, 120 cores, 2.2 TB RAM, and 180 TB storage.
