NextRadioTV, a French multimedia group behind BFMTV.com, BFM Business, RMC Sport, RMC Découverte, and 01net.com, needed to move beyond its farm of 80 physical servers. The company was under constant pressure from IT alerts and unpredictable traffic spikes that could grow fivefold in just 15 minutes, while also supporting up to 9 million daily visits. OVHcloud provided the cloud infrastructure needed to improve scalability and reliability, using a Hosted Private Cloud and Public Cloud services.

OVHcloud implemented a Hosted Private Cloud with seven XL Enterprise servers, eight data stores, and support for 80 virtual machines, along with HAProxy, round-robin DNS, and real-time monitoring to maintain availability even during host failures. The migration was completed without service interruption, and NextRadioTV now handles 9 million visitors per day with faster VM provisioning, better disaster recovery, and 40% to 50% lower operating costs. OVHcloud also took over infrastructure support, allowing NextRadioTV’s IT team to focus on other priorities.
