Medria Technologies, a French company that designs sensors and IT solutions for livestock monitoring, needed a highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support 24/7 animal tracking, real-time alerts, and long-term data analysis. Using OVH cloud dedicated servers and vRack private networking, Medria aimed to protect sensitive farm data while keeping operations reliable and easy to manage as the business grew.

OVH cloud implemented a layered dedicated-server architecture for routing, database storage, data processing, SMS delivery, and monitoring, with backup servers for resilience. The result was a secure and almost entirely isolated infrastructure that supports real-time analysis of up to 300,000 animals, stores and processes 12 TB of data, and sends around 160 SMS alerts per hour—up to 120,000 per month—to more than 4,500 farms.
