Vonage, a cloud communications provider, wanted to expand its UK business customer base in a highly competitive market. To support that effort, it looked for an incentive provider to help build a customer rewards programme that could acquire new customers and encourage retention, especially among small and medium-sized businesses.

Ovation Incentives created a monthly customer incentive programme for new Vonage customers who subscribed to a VoIP phone line, with reward values based on the plan taken. The programme included a cooling period to help reduce churn, removed reward claim administration from Vonage, and was managed through a Vonage-branded website with UK fulfilment and customer service handled by Ovation Incentives. Vonage UK reported a substantial rise in its business customer base, strong, consistent double-digit revenue growth on the business side, and campaigns run for three years.
