Wheels Smooths User Experience with Custom Fleet Management Solutions

Wheels, Inc., a leader in corporate fleet management, needed to modernize its multi-tenant FleetView™ client portal to support highly customized workflows across many industries and integrate a wide range of data services, legacy systems, Salesforce, and third-party APIs while meeting enterprise security requirements. Off‑the‑shelf products couldn’t handle the scale and specificity of their needs, so Wheels sought a low-code platform to rapidly add capabilities and create a seamless end-to-end user experience.

Working with OutSystems consultants, Wheels rapidly built a Vehicle Inventory Management app and other modules fully integrated with Salesforce and vendor systems, then launched a mobile-optimized FleetView app (working prototype in 6 weeks, full multilingual release in 13 weeks). The solution added biometric login, push notifications, local storage, and digitized telematics, factory acknowledgement, and employee operations, delivering faster development (≈2x), greater workflow efficiency, a unified UX, positive stakeholder feedback, and noticeable productivity gains for the company.
