TEDxAveiro’s Event Management System developed in 2 weeks

TEDxAveiro, a community-organized TEDx event, needed an affordable, fast way to manage the full event lifecycle—online registration, payment processing, ticket and badge printing, and access control—but as a non-profit with no internal IT team they faced tight time and budget constraints.

Contisystems used the OutSystems Platform Community Edition to build a centralized ticketing and operations system in two weeks with a single developer. The solution included a public registration site, automated payment and badge workflows, back-office dashboards and PDA/turnstile integration. Delivered on time and within budget, it supported 600+ registrations, enabled real-time reporting, reduced manual work and was easily adapted for future events.
