Strapped to a Restrictive ERP, Cordstrap Makes Vital Information Globally Available With OutSystems

Cordstrap, a global cargo-strap manufacturer, needed to standardize production planning and reporting across its worldwide operations but was held back by a non-graphical ERP, no in-house developers, and limited agile experience. To achieve operational excellence and speed up feature delivery, Cordstrap partnered with OutSystems Certified Partner Phact to build a user-friendly ERP front end.

Phact used the OutSystems low-code platform to deliver Planboard, a cloud app that visualizes production schedules, integrates with ERP data and includes validation to ensure data integrity. Built by two developers in six months instead of the multi‑year timeline of traditional development, Planboard is now used globally by production, planning, logistics and expedition teams, improving data quality, schedule reliability, service levels and customer satisfaction while reducing manual dependency and increasing headquarters’ visibility.
