Salsa, founded in 1994 to build the world’s best‑fitting jeans, sells through online, own stores, franchises and thousands of wholesale partners across 35 countries. To protect its reputation for fit and speed, Salsa needed to optimize stock availability and accelerate time‑to‑market, but found packaged ERP and retail systems too rigid for the collaborative, multi‑partner workflows required across design, manufacturing and retail.
Since 2005 Salsa has used OutSystems to rapidly build a tailored PLM (Salsa DNA), a franchise integration hub (SlsBroker) and a retail portal, avoiding heavy ERP customization while enabling fast partner onboarding and real‑time stock visibility. The result: 40% fewer supply‑chain errors, 30% fewer out‑of‑stock events, about 20% faster product time‑to‑market, eliminated manual SAP entries, stronger ecosystem collaboration and roughly three times higher developer productivity.
