McMillan Shakespeare Group Finds a Platform for Rapid Innovation with OutSystems

McMillan Shakespeare Group (MMSG), Australia’s largest provider of salary packaging and novated leasing services, was struggling with a growing backlog of custom applications that consumed too much IT time on maintenance and slowed innovation. To respond faster to changing business needs and customer demands, MMSG selected OutSystems as a low-code platform to speed development and reduce the effort required to build, maintain, and evolve new digital solutions.

Using OutSystems, MMSG built a mobile Digital RFQ app and a web-based finance application to digitize sales and origination processes. OutSystems helped the team deliver these apps 2x faster than traditional hand-coding, eliminate a 3–4 day RFQ paperwork delay, and cut finance application turnaround from three days to as little as one hour. The apps now process about 7,500 quotation requests a year and around 220 finance applications per weekday, improving completion rates and customer experience.
