BAM Technologies, a veteran-owned software development company, worked with OutSystems to modernize the U.S. Army’s Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP), which had been burdened by a slow, paper-based process. Using OutSystems, BAM Technologies delivered the Enterprise EFMP in just six months instead of years, with agile development, reusable components, and rapid feedback from Army stakeholders and more than 1,000 pilot families. The result was a secure, mobile-friendly platform with automated workflows, integrated data prefill, e-signatures, and dashboards; it streamlined enrollment and support, captured data in GovCloud for future renewals, and significantly improved speed, usability, and operational efficiency for the Army.
