Logitech Legacy Modernization Speeds Products to Market With OutSystems

Logitech, the global maker of computer, gaming and mobile accessories, needed to replace its outdated Lotus Notes applications with intuitive, browser- and device-accessible tools that were faster to build and easier to maintain. The legacy apps were hard to deploy and didn’t meet modern employee expectations, so Logitech sought a platform that could consolidate disparate systems and speed time to market.

Using the OutSystems low-code platform, Logitech built 80 apps — including a company-wide Product Launch Application Center that centralizes development data and tracks products end-to-end — with a team of just four full-time developers (about half the prior resources). Apps integrate with systems like Workday, Google, Oracle and Active Directory, can be delivered in roughly two weeks, support near-instant hotfixes, and enabled Logitech’s first mobile app for sales and marketing documentation.
