Lendr, a Chicago-based fintech that provides fast working capital and factoring to small businesses, faced a major development bottleneck: a tiny in-house team and heavy reliance on C# left a growing backlog of internal and external requests. By adopting OutSystems (compatible with its .NET stack) and working with partner Netlink, Lendr delivered five apps in under 12 months with just two developers—two apps in three months and a PPP application in six hours during COVID. Today about 70% of development is on OutSystems, development effort is far lower than with pure C#, delivery is more than twice as fast, and the new portals support 400+ client businesses (700 users) and 150+ broker partners while saving over 1,000 staff hours through streamlined workflows.
