Large Private Healthcare Group Brings in OutSystems to Support Business Expansion

Luz Saúde, a large private healthcare group in Portugal, outgrew its legacy systems during a period of expansion and needed a unified communication tool to break information silos, centralize content and access control, and give independent physicians an easy way to schedule exams and access results.

Using OutSystems and partners Truewind and ROFF, Luz Saúde launched the Luz Link intranet for 14,000 employees and a PMA Portal for physicians. Development time was cut nearly in half, the IT team’s intranet workload fell by about 50%, the physician portal now serves ~500 users and boosted referral volumes by 40%, while completion rates, internal processes and overall user experience improved significantly.
