ISB Global Creates Mobile Application Allowing Remote Users to Carry the Power of SAP on Any Device

ISB Global, a consulting firm serving the waste, recycling, and energy industries, needed to make its SAP Business One-based WR1 solution mobile for a decentralized user base while overcoming SAP’s complex UI and infrastructure challenges. Using OutSystems, the company set out to deliver a SaaS mobile and web application that could serve field and remote employees across the UK and Ireland.

OutSystems enabled ISB Global to build and launch Smart!World, a fully SAP-integrated app for recording, tracking, and managing customer service requests on any device with real-time ERP integration. The first version went live in two months with just two developers, required no user training, and helped one customer save nearly $300,000 in software and hardware costs in the first year.
