Integrated Security Provider Certis Deploys Mobile-First Service Delivery System to 16,000 Staff

Certis, Singapore’s leading integrated security provider, needed to modernize its 12-year-old, paper-based Certis Service Delivery System (CSDS) so tens of thousands of officers could access up-to-date, compliant work instructions and training records. Managing rostering, qualifications and site-specific procedures was time-consuming for the 400-strong quality and training team, creating delays in updates, manual rekeying into SAP HCM, and limited real-time visibility for management.

Using OutSystems (with partner Dreamcloud), Certis rebuilt CSDS as a mobile-first digital service delivery system in two phases—backend web tools for quality officers and a mobile app rolled out to 16,000 staff in 2020. The solution delivered faster site setup, SAP and Tableau integrations, “Golden Template” job sheets, in-app improvement reporting, and an estimated S$250,000 in annual recurring productivity savings while improving compliance, onboarding and real-time performance visibility.
