EDP Group, a multinational energy company with over 14,000 geographically dispersed employees, faced fragmented country-level systems that produced inaccurate data and made global communication difficult. The company needed a centrally accessible, real-time employee information portal that supported Portuguese and Spanish, integrated with existing HR/ERP systems, and could scale to additional countries and languages.

Using the OutSystems platform, EDP deployed a centralized, multilingual employee portal integrated with SAP and Cézanne, offering powerful search, hierarchical navigation, facilities data, vCard export, spreadsheet import and back-office self-configuration. The solution went live in 8 weeks with 10,150 employee records and 270 facilities available at launch, delivering accurate centralized data, improved worldwide communication and easy expansion to new languages without additional development.
