Deloitte’s Risk Advisory team needed a scalable way for financial firms to monitor thousands of customer calls for misconduct, mis‑selling, vulnerability and other FCA‑related risks—an impractical task to do manually. When a large bank ran a hackathon to find a solution, Deloitte partnered with OutSystems to compete.
Using OutSystems’ low‑code platform and Deloitte’s BEAT AI engine, the team built a working prototype in one week and delivered the finished front end in five months. The app applies acoustic and behavioral models to surface high‑risk call segments so reviewers can focus only on problematic interactions; it’s easily customizable, cuts tedious work and costs, and is now deployed by multiple financial services clients.
