Case Study: London Business School improves productivity with Outsourcery’s unified communications solution

A Outsourcery Case Study

Preview of the London Business School Case Study

Leading Business School Eyes Productivity Boost withNew Unified Communications Solution

London Business School, a 720-employee business school in the United Kingdom, needed to replace end-of-life email servers and three PBX systems that supported 1,300 telephone extensions. The existing email platform was limited to 1-gigabyte mailboxes, and some users had turned to personal email accounts, creating administrative and compliance issues. The school also needed better support for staff working from home and moving between its five-campus buildings.

Outsourcery implemented a hybrid unified communications solution using Microsoft Office 365 Education and Microsoft Lync Server 2013 with Enterprise Voice. The rollout was expected to improve staff productivity, support flexible working, and save IT support time, with benefits including presence information, voice mail sent by email, easier conference calls, and reduced maintenance of email and phone systems. The full migration of 1,300 telephone extensions and email accounts was expected by May 2015.
