Northdoor, an IT consultancy and solutions provider, selected Outsourcery to design a disaster recovery solution that could protect critical systems while keeping costs down for less important operations. As a long-term Outsourcery partner, Northdoor needed a resilient setup that would support more than 300 clients and make it easier to scale its environment as business needs changed.

Outsourcery delivered a two-tier disaster recovery solution with live server mirroring in the cloud for critical systems and a cloud-based repository for non-critical backups. Northdoor said it could recover critical servers in 15 minutes without data loss, and it successfully used the solution during major City power problems, running its critical email and helpdesk applications with no negative impact on customers.
