The customer, a cosmetics and pharmacy chain store operating in Australian and Singaporean airports, faced a challenge integrating data between its point-of-sale (POS) application and its separate reporting tool. Outsource2india was tasked with developing a solution to automatically make the entire sales data available for reports, a complex task as the two different apps operated in several locations.

Outsource2india developed a custom .NET application that acted as an intermediary. This app connected to an SFTP server to extract sales data uploaded by the POS vendor, converted it into the required format, performed calculations, and added it to the report application's database. The result was a fully automated system that operates even at midnight, significantly reducing the customer's workload by eliminating the need for manual data extraction and export. The customer was extremely happy with the product.
