Securing the remote workforce and infrastructure with Outpost24

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), a UK charity founded in 1804 with around 1,000 full‑time and 1,500 part‑time staff and volunteers across six sites, faced a sudden shift to remote working during the pandemic—moving roughly 800 people offsite—and needed to secure remote access, protect sensitive systems, and support up to 250 in‑house web applications. To meet these challenges RHS turned to Outpost24, using its Application Security and Network Security solutions to strengthen vulnerability management, asset discovery and testing.

Outpost24 implemented continuous vulnerability management, discovery scans, dynamic application security testing (DAST) and automated PCI/compliance checks, giving RHS real‑time remediation insights and visibility across their attack surface. As a result, Outpost24 helped RHS find previously unknown applications, reduce time to remediate vulnerabilities, simplify PCI compliance and improve overall security posture—protecting their reputation, enabling secure remote and hybrid working for hundreds of staff and supporting the charity’s move of services and events online.
