Arup, a global engineering firm with 5,000–10,000 employees and a five-person security team, faced growing security demands and difficulty driving patching and remediation from their vulnerability reports. Since 2010 Arup has worked with Outpost24 (Outscan, HIAB and Managed Services) and engaged the vendor to take on regular scanning and reporting to help the small security team gain traction on remediation.

Outpost24 implemented ongoing managed scanning, reporting and security consultancy, consolidating Arup’s tooling from two competing products to a single Outpost24 platform and service. The result was clearer, prioritized remediation guidance, easier-to-use dashboards and filters, and the ability for Arup’s five-person team to focus on fixing issues rather than running scans — a measurable consolidation to one vendor and ongoing managed reporting that improved remediation workflow.
