Intel needed to replace its legacy ASP/SQL Server-based web content management system with a modern LAMP-based framework that could unify disconnected applications and data sources. The company also wanted to support social media and video integration, build a loyalty program, and grow its user base for the Intel Software Network (ISN). OSSCube was brought in to design and deliver the new enterprise WCM solution.

OSSCube built a scalable, multilingual content management framework from scratch for Intel, including support for text, graphics, video, forums, blogs, and media management. The solution migrated English, Russian, and Chinese content to MySQL, added single sign-on and social publishing, and introduced caching and clustering to improve performance. As a result, Intel’s page load time was reduced, the platform was able to support over 10 million global users, and the new loyalty program rewarded user contributions.
