A Consolidated Pim Solution to Improve Product Management

Shoes.com, the fast-growing online retailer, needed a better way to streamline web publishing and unify product data spread across Shopify and a custom PHP application. The company was looking to replace its fragmented product information management setup with a single consolidated system that could handle core product attributes like descriptions, prices, and inventory while integrating smoothly with its other e-commerce systems. OSSCube helped Shoes.com implement Pimcore’s PIM module to meet this need.

OSSCube built a custom data model in Pimcore, migrated around 3 million product records and roughly 30 core fields, and used Pimcore event handlers to keep integrations working across systems. As a result, Shoes.com can now process up to 6,000 updates per hour, keep product information accurate, and manage more than 3 million records across platforms. OSSCube also continued weekly updates, helping the solution stay aligned with Shoes.com’s ongoing operations.
