They partnered with vendor osapiens, utilizing its oneIDentity+ service platform to address these challenges.

osapiens implemented a solution using unique, serialized QR codes containing a Scania subdomain, a GTIN, and a serial number on each product label. This allowed customers to instantly access various digital services by scanning the code with a smartphone. The implementation began with the vci3/vci4 diagnostic tools and provided benefits including robust counterfeit protection, streamlined digital registration, and valuable analytics on goods flow.
