Major Shoe Manufacturer Samuel Hubbard Starts B2B eCommerce with OroCommerce

Samuel Hubbard, a high-end shoe manufacturer, partnered with OroCommerce to launch a B2B eCommerce portal that would relieve their sales team of manual SAP B1 order entry and deliver a highly customized, one-page checkout experience. The challenge included automating day-to-day B2B workflows, guaranteeing user adoption for customers used to ordering by phone/fax/email, and integrating B2C data from Magento into a single backend using OroCommerce’s built-in CRM (OroCRM).

OroCommerce implemented a one-step checkout and new ordering tools (Product Matrix, Multi-Select), plus Roles & Permissions to let reps place and save orders on behalf of buyers, and pulled Magento customer data into OroCRM for a 360° view. The result was fast customer adoption, a launch in six months, automated B2B ordering that freed the sales team, management of 4,500+ SKUs and over $32,000 a month in B2B orders attributable to the new OroCommerce solution.
