HotelDO, part of BestDay’s travel technology ecosystem, needed real-time monitoring for its mission-critical Affiliate Service, which handles very high volumes of hotel search and booking traffic across mixed cloud and physical server environments. The challenge was to detect issues in live reservation flows immediately, control client request rates, and support massive daily activity without affecting search performance.

Origin Software implemented an asynchronous log-capture layer in the XML search and booking engine that transformed requests and responses into JSON and sent them to Azure Event Hubs. Using Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Server, Tableau/Power BI, and a .NET log console, Origin Software delivered real-time monitoring and reporting that processed more than 100 million searches per day with no impact on booking performance, while enabling live error tracking and reservation visibility by client.
