The University of North Georgia’s Dahlonega campus, a public four‑year campus of about 600 full‑time students with 113 student groups, was overwhelmed by manual club and renewal paperwork handled by a single coordinator and an outdated student groups website. The process relied on Excel and manual data entry, creating inefficiency and poor discoverability for students—especially commuters.
OrgSync was implemented in 2011 and expanded to all three UNG campuses, providing a centralized platform with SIS API syncing, News, Card Swipe and event/credit tracking. The platform cut management time by more than 50%, is now used by 250+ departments and organizations with roughly 320 portals, boosted engagement through initiatives like OrgTober and an advisory council, and is being eyed for future election integrations.
