The University of Miami, a private four‑year institution with about 15,000 full‑time students and 276 student organizations, needed a user‑friendly, easy‑to‑navigate system to streamline student elections and improve overall visibility of campus involvement. They sought a single platform where students and staff could manage organization registration, events, elections and administrative tasks.

Since adopting OrgSync in Summer 2012 and expanding it across multiple offices (Fraternity & Sorority Life, Student Activities, Law School, Butler Center), UM centralized registrations, digital forms, event calendars and budgeting files using OrgSync tools and add‑ons (API, Authentication, Four Umbrellas). The implementation drove roughly 70% student adoption (with a goal of full enrollment), moved all department registrations and forms online, empowered student leaders with digital resources, and made it easier for prospective students to discover involvement opportunities.
